Maintenance Service Details / Pricing

Mowing Services will be performed on a weekly basis during growth season (typically mid/late March through late October). Dr. Green Thumb Landscapes estimates 28 seasonal mowing services (scalping not included). At the beginning and end of the season, mowing services will likely occur every other week based on weather and growth. In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, a missed service will be scheduled for the next available day. In the event of multiple consecutive days of inclement weather, service may not resume until the following week on your regular scheduled day. Basic mowing includes directional mowing/weed eating/edging of property & air sweeping of hard surfaces. Bagging clippings is available upon request and will result in an additional charge. Please note: Dr. Green Thumb no longer offers one-time mowing services, every-other-week mowing services or on-call mowing services. If you decide to cancel your mowing service, a 10 day notice is required.

Minimum stop charge: $90

Scalping: is an optional service and will be billed at a rate equivalent to (2) mowing services. Scalping includes mowing, weed eating, edging and air-sweeping of hard surfaces.

Minimum stop charge: $150

Flower Bed Weed Control Services are only available in conjunction with mowing services, and will be performed on a weekly basis during growth season (typically mid/late March through late October). At the beginning and end of the season, flower bed services will likely occur every other week based on weather and growth. In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, a missed service will be scheduled for the next available day. In the event of multiple consecutive days of inclement weather, service may not resume until the following week on your regular scheduled day. Weed maintenance service will utilize both chemical & manual methods at the discretion of Dr. Green Thumb Landscapes. Flower Bed Clean-Out Services are billed at a rate of $85/man hour. Haul-off/Disposal fee will be based on amount of debris with a minimum disposal charge of $45.

Hedge/Shrub Trimming Services will be performed on an as-preferred basis. Please contact Dr. Green Thumb when you need hedge maintenance. Hedge trimming services are billed at a rate of $85/man hour. Haul-off/Disposal fee will be based on amount of debris with a minimum disposal charge of $45.

Minimum stop charge: $350.

Pre/Post Emergent & Fertilization Treatments – Standard plan consists of (4) Pre/Post Emergent Applications (weed control) and (3) Fertilizer applications. Optimal results are achieved over time by following the plan. In order to achieve the best results, applications should not be skipped. Dr. Green Thumb may perform additional spot-spraying applications between treatments. Additional fertilizer applications beyond our standard annual plan may be requested at an additional charge. Please note that Dr. Green Thumb only adds green dye to our mixture for the winter application, so your yard will only have a yellow tint on the remaining treatments. We will leave a postcard at your door to notify you of treatments performed. Scheduling is approximate. Weather conditions & patterns may vary the schedule slightly. Please note: Dr. Green Thumb no longer offers weed control and fertilization without our weekly mowing service, on an on-call basis or on a partial program basis. If you decide to cancel your 7- step program, a 10-day notice is required.

Over Seed Application - Typically (2) services per year is recommended, with timing of applications based upon weather/temperature patterns. Timeframes are approximate:

First application - End of August/Beginning of September.

Second application - End of March/Beginning of April.

Minimum stop charge: $350

Leaf Clean-up Services– Will be performed on an as-preferred basis. Please contact Dr. Green Thumb when you would like to have a leaf clean-up service. Leaf clean-up services are billed at a rate of $85/man hour. Haul-off/Disposal fee will be based on amount of debris with a minimum disposal charge of $45.

Minimum stop charge: $350

Gutter Clean-out Services are billed at a rate of $85/man hour. Haul-off/Disposal fee will be based on amount of debris with a minimum disposal charge of $45.

Minimum stop charge: $350

Combined Services – If a combination of any of the above services are combined, they will be billed at a rate of $85/man hour.

Minimum stop charge: $350

Irrigation Diagnosis/Repair – Service call - $150. Repairs/Diagnosis billed at a rate of $95/man hour.

Minimum stop charge: $150 (plus parts)

Terms of Service Agreement

Service Agreement Term – AVERAGE BILLING CLIENTS: Initial term of maintenance agreement is for 12 months. Agreement will

commence upon receipt by Dr. Green Thumb of signed agreement or other written consent. Once 12 month agreement has been fulfilled, the agreement will continue for an additional 12 month term with the same provisions and conditions (unless otherwise modified and agreed to by client and Dr. Green Thumb Landscapes) until ended by a written 30-day cancellation notice (by either party). Should cancellation occur during a 12 month term, Client shall pay any amount due to Dr. Green Thumb Landscapes in connection with the contract the actual direct costs of all labor and material expended for client prior to the effective date of termination. An invoice for any amount owed by client will be sent upon agreement termination and is due immediately.

Cancellation of Service - AVERAGE BILLING CLIENTS: Client/Dr. Green Thumb hereby reserves the right to terminate

annual agreement without regard to fault or breach upon written 30-day notice to Dr. Green Thumb/Client, effective

thirty days from notice date, unless otherwise provided in said notice. In the event of such termination, Client shall pay

any amount due to Dr. Green Thumb Landscapes in connection with agreement the actual direct costs of all labor and

material expended for client prior to the effective date of termination. An invoice for any amount owed by client will be

sent upon agreement termination and is due immediately.

Service Agreement Term/CancellationNON-AVERAGE BILLING CLIENTS Upon verbal or written consent, Dr. Green Thumb

Landscapes will perform service as requested. For mowing, flower bed weed maintenance and our 7-step program, it is expected that our clients commit to a minimum of the remainder of the growing season. Once growing season has passed, please notify us prior to March 1st if you do not wish to continue service for the upcoming season. If you choose to cancel service at any time, a 10-day written (emailed) notice is required. Failure to provide required written notification of cancellation may result in charges for services inadvertently performed within this 10 day period.

Weather: Weather conditions can vary quite a bit in Oklahoma. In the case of inclement weather, Dr. Green Thumb Landscapes will not provide notification of delayed service. Some delays result in service 1-2 days later than normal service day; Some delays result in being skipped an entire week. Please understand that you are a priority, and we will do everything possible to service you as soon as conditions permit.

Missed services - AVERAGE BILLING CLIENTS: Dr. Green Thumb does everything possible to provide the number of

services agreed upon. We are unable to issue credits for services that are missed due to inclement weather.

Property Layout Changes: Should the layout of the property be significantly adjusted due to the addition of a pool, fence, large

flower bed, other structure, etc., previously agreed upon charges may require adjustment. The client has the right to accept or reject any proposed pricing changes without incurring penalty.

Client Responsibility

*Provide access to all areas of jobsite during reasonable service hours.

*Notify Dr. Green Thumb at least 48 hours prior to regular service day if property will be inaccessible or if the service needs to be skipped for any reason.

AVERAGE BILLING CLIENTS: No credits will be issued for services skipped at the request of the client.

NON-AVERAGE BILLING CLIENTS: Notify Dr. Green Thumb at least 48 hours prior to regular service day if property will be

inaccessible or if the service needs to be skipped for any reason. Failure to provide timely notice may result in charges

inadvertently performed during this 48 hours.

*Remove excessive debris, pet droppings, toys, etc. from property prior to scheduled service.

*Review all invoices submitted by Dr. Green Thumb and remit payment by due date.

*Report any property damage believed to have been caused by Dr. Green Thumb (not to include items left in yard) within 3

business days.

Dr. Green Thumb Landscapes Responsibility

*Dr. Green Thumb Landscapes is committed to providing top quality services in a timely, efficient manner using high quality

commercial grade equipment by our courteous & professional staff.

*Comply with all licenses and permit requirements of the city, state and federal governments as well as all other requirements of the law.

*Secure General Liability Insurance, Automotive Insurance, Workers Compensation Insurance and any other insurance required by law.

* Upon agreement acceptance, you will be notified of your regular service day of the week. Toward the beginning of the season and the end of the season, when growth patterns make changes, it is likely that your actual service day may vary from your normal day of the week. It may also vary due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. In the case of inclement weather, Dr. Green Thumb Landscapes will not provide notification of delayed service. Please understand that you are a priority, and we will do everything possible to service you as soon as conditions permit.

Invoicing

Option 1: Pay as services are rendered: Maintenance services: Invoices will be sent via email at the end of each month for services rendered that month. Payment is due on the 10 th . Non-maintenance services: Payment terms vary by project. If not otherwise agreed to, payment is due in full upon completion of project.

Option 2: Average monthly billing (available for annual agreements totaling $6000 or more): Initial invoice will be sent upon

acceptance of estimate and service agreement. Subsequent invoices will be sent via email at the end of each month for the following month’s services. Payment is due on the 7th. Additional services beyond maintenance agreement will be invoiced separately and payment is due in full upon completion of service/project unless otherwise agreed to. Dr. Green Thumb accepts cash, check or payment via online ACH transactions.

Past due invoices Past due invoices are subject to an initial $35 Late Fee. In addition to the initial late fee, 2% will be added to the invoice total for every 7 days payment is past due. Liens will be filed after 45 days. Dr. Green Thumb reserves the right to file liens sooner than 45 days if conditions are warranted. There will be a $35 fee for all returned checks / ACH transactions. Suspension: Dr. Green Thumb Landscapes reserves the right to suspend services if any outstanding invoice is more than 7 days past due.
